When taking underwater photography or video, the water filters the light as it passes through. Longer wavelengths, red and orange, are absorbed leaving only blue. Every creator hates doing color correction during post-production. Time is money. With our patented Ultra Layer coating, the lens can withstand 3% saltwater at 70°C for 90 minutes while the coating adhesion can be maintained at a water drop elevation angle of 90° and above, extending the life of your filter in the harshest conditions. It is also easy to clean and maintain.
For the rim, we use precision machining for a tough and corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy frame. The inner circle is treated with non-stick Teflon and a matte black finish and the embossed frame is easy to rotate and won’t jam. The shock-absorbent frame also reduces the chance of damage to your lens if it takes a knock.
