      There is a hidden and surreal world right in front of our eyes. STC engineered three types of IR Filters for creators seeking to create a unique look:

      • Standard IR Filter (720nm): this is great for producing false color images and black and white contrast.  
      • Deep Black and White (850nm): this is perfect for dramatic black and white IR. The filter makes it easier to produce high contrast images with bright whites and deep blacks. 
      • Ultra Color filter (590nm): By allowing additional visible light frequencies in, this filter produces the most vibrant colors and rich grays resulting in golden yellow leaves and bright blue skies.

      About This Product

      STC offers infrared filters for three wavelengths: 590nm, 720nm, and 850nm. Filtering out different wavelengths results in different stylistic expression.

      EDIT: 590nm and 720nm half-color infrared filters to the deep black and white of the 850nm full infrared.

      Features

      We use Japanese optical-grade infrared-absorbing glass which blocks visible light and only lets in infrared of a specific wavelength.

      Then we add our eco-friendly EU RoHS 2.0 standard double-sided multilayer nanocoating that is hydrophobic, anti-reflective, anti-smudge, wear-resistant, and antistatic, making it very easy to keep clean while also defogging quickly.

      1.1mm Japanese optical quality infrared-absorbing glass available in 590nm, 720nm, and 850nm bands for high image quality with low color cast.
       

      For the rim, we use precision machining for a tough but lightweight aluminum alloy frame. The unique pressure ring design can allow as much light in as possible, while also reducing vignetting when using a wide-angle lens. The inner circle is treated with non-stick Teflon and a matte black finish and the embossed frame is easy to rotate. The shock-absorbent frame also reduces the chance of damage to your lens if it takes a knock. We also offer a factory lifetime warranty and repair service for the frame and innovative maintenance services for the lens.
